Nevada Update as of February 15, 2021: Governor Sisolak updated the statewide update to increase the size of gatherings for public events from 25% to 35% capacity or 100 people, whichever is smaller. Check out the county website for all COVID details and descriptions.

Our hearts are with our couples as they plan their wedding amidst a pandemic. Things are being updated daily, and we are monitoring the news for any changes that may affect our ability to perform any of our services. We are hopeful and positive that we’ll all get through this together, especially since we are so close to having a vaccine. In recent months, we’ve had many of our couples reach out concerned about their wedding dates. Below are some of the recent frequently asked questions regarding the performance of our services during COVID.

Are you still willing to perform at our wedding?

Absolutely! We are so ready to celebrate your love story with your closest friends and family. Don’t worry. We are taking the proper precautions to make sure that we keep everyone safe and healthy. Our Epik team is extra diligent with face masks, when needed, hand sanitizer, and Clorox wipes to disinfect our equipment properly.

What are the options if we have to reschedule to a new date?

We recommend the following if you need to look for an alternative date:

  1. Reach out to your venue to find possible dates
    1. Be open to Friday or Sunday dates as most Saturday dates could be booked
  2. Let us know what dates are available that work best for you and your venue
  3. We will respond with our options ASAP so that you can get it booked
  4. We will send a new/amended contract with the updated date
  5. Reach out to your guests to inform them of the date change
    1. We found this template to help you give the change of date

Is there an additional booking fee to reschedule my wedding?

If you move your wedding date one time, we will require an additional fee for the following reasons: move from a Mon-Thurs to a Friday-Sunday, move from a December – April date to a May- November date, or move your wedding beyond 12 months from your original date. If you move your wedding date more than once, there will be at least a $500 move fee, and we will allow you to use your original retainer as a credit to book our services at our current pricing as it may have changed. We request that if you move your date, you pay 50% of your remaining balance on your original wedding date, and the final payment is due 30 days prior to your new wedding date.

If I cancel my wedding or event, can I get a refund?

When signing the contract and booking with Epik Weddings, you paid a booking fee/retainer of 50% of your total balance. This booking fee was used to retain our services for your date that limits or excludes us from booking with another couple for the same date. Due to this reason, the booking fee/retainer is not refundable; however, we can hold this as a credit and apply it to a new event within 12 months of the original date.

We are thinking of having a smaller wedding. Can you help with a live stream?

Yes! To help share your love story with those that can’t attend the celebration in person, we are now adding an option to live-stream your ceremony that will also be available to view again and again. We can even upgrade this package to create a fully edited video of your ceremony/elopement/micro-wedding that can be enjoyed over and over again. Some couples are having an elopement while there is a limit on larger functions and then showing that video at the reception in the future.

We are eloping now, so we don’t need a DJ. Can we move our payment to photography and/or videography?

Yes! Since we offer multiple services of DJ, Photo Booth, Photography, and Videography, the retainer can be used for any of the aforementioned services if that makes more sense for you and your event; however, before you decide to ditch the DJ, check out our articles below:
