Now more than ever, people are taking extra precautions to minimize the spread of germs and here at Epik, we’re doing same which is why we’ve incorporated the touchless photo booth into our services. We want our clients feel peace of mind knowing they can enjoy snapping photos in photo booth without worry of shared contact.
In the past, you can come to the photo booth and tap the start button on the screen to initiate your photo booth session. We know that touching shared surfaces is a concern for many at this time so we took that free time during quarantine to find a solution.
Introducing our new touchless photo booth experience
We’ve implemented a new touchless photo booth feature for our guests to enjoy. It’s the same fun experience as before but this time, the photo booth session is initiated using a smart phone. Capturing guests having fun in the moment is easy and now, touchless.
How does the touchless photo booth work?
When guests first come to the photo booth, there will be a QR code they can scan using the camera on their smartphones or they can go to boothstart.com using their smartphone’s web browser. Next, guests type in the email address they want the digital copies of their photo booth pictures. Once they submit their email address, a personalized QR code is generated. They take the QR code, hop in the photo booth and show it to the camera to start the photo booth session. See – it’s super easy to start a touchless photo booth session!
After the photo booth session is over, the photos are automatically printed and emailed for guests to save, send, or share on social media.

Safety precautions we are taking at this time
With every photo booth rental comes a Booth Butler, an attendant that helps guests with their photo booth experience and ensures the equipment is functioning properly. They are also there to clean and disinfect the photo booth plus props in between photo booth sessions to minimize the spread of germs to help keep our guests safe. We have followed the suggestions provided by the CDC and implemented them in our processes to continue to provide a great experience for our guests. The cleaning products we use are made of biobased ingredients that are certified nontoxic so guests can feel confident in using our props right after they’ve been cleaned.
Along with cleaning in between photo booth sessions, we have invested in a lot of hand sanitizer for our guests to use. So many new hand sanitizers have come out since the pandemic started and we found a great brand that does a great job with germ fighting without making your hands super dry. We’re always thinking about way to enhance our guests’ experience with our photo booth.
