Recently, our photographer Aaron got the opportunity to shoot Gillian and Michael’s Lake Tahoe engagement photos. These two were such an awesome couple to be around. Aaron connected with the couple instantly creating a relaxed vibe to capture their stunning photos.
We absolutely love that Lake Tahoe is right in our backyard. It seems like every year, we find new places to explore all around this area. This year was no different.
We found a new location to take our couples who want some fantastic photos by the lake without the crowds. Travelers who frequent Lake Tahoe are familiar with the large crowds that Tahoe brings. Who wants beach go-ers in their engagement photos? Our couples have preferred for their engagement photo session to be a little more private without the worry of on-lookers.
The location our photographer took our couple to was a secluded lakefront location during the magic hour before sunset. There were so many great places in that area to capture some fantastic shots of the lovebirds. The lighting was perfect. The couple was perfect. What more can you ask for? A dog.

We’re so incredibly thankful to work with some really chill couples like these two. Their engagement photos were filled were laughter. We had so much fun!
If you know Lake Tahoe, you know that the water is always cold – all year round. Yes, even during the hottest summer months like July and August, that water is still cold. But the cold temperature didn’t stop these two from jumping in!
